FLY4 launches first operations from Northern Ireland

FLY4 Airlines continues to expand its operational footprint with the launch of its first services from Belfast International Airport (BFS).

The inaugural flights, operated on behalf of TUI, departed to Reus and Corfu, marking the start of FLY4’s operations from Northern Ireland. While headquartered in Dublin, this represents the airline’s first ACMI services operating from the region.

Just over two years since the airline was established, this moment reflects the pace of FLY4’s development and the strength of its partnership driven model. Built on flexibility, reliability and collaboration, FLY4 continues to expand its footprint across Europe, supporting leading airlines with high quality ACMI capacity.

For CFO Doug Fay, the milestone also carried personal significance. Born in Belfast, his first-ever flight departed from BFS, a family holiday to Menorca in 1991. Returning now as FLY4 launches its own operations from the airport highlights just how far both the airline and its leadership team have come.

The launch was made possible through close collaboration, alongside the support of teams on the ground including BOSA, TUI, Swissport and Belfast International Airport.

As FLY4 continues to grow, the addition of a Northern Ireland base marks another important step in its ambition to become a leading airline capacity provider, connecting people, supporting partners and delivering operational excellence across every flight.
