FLY4 Airlines Expands into India with QuikJet’s Local Expertise

FLY4 Airlines’ strategic partnerships continue to go from strength to strength as we accelerate our growth plan, teaming up with QuikJet to enter the Indian market with local expertise on our side.

The partnership embeds local expertise and cultural understanding into FLY4’s winter ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) operations in Delhi, facilitating integration with Indian carrier SpiceJet during the country’s peak travel season. QuikJet, majority-owned by ASL Aviation Holdings, a global aviation group with a fleet of nearly 160 aircraft, adds proven reliability and regional insight. As a trusted operator for Amazon Air in India, QuikJet brings operational credibility to the collaboration.

To ensure success in a complex new market, FLY4 selected QuikJet, a fellow Boeing 737 operator, to act as its “eyes and ears” on the ground. From overseeing the contracted Part-145 Maintenance Provider to supporting logistics at FLY4’s Delhi base, QuikJet helps ensure compliance and efficiency tailored to the Indian operating environment.

A key element of the partnership is the Coordinator role between the Operational Teams from both companies, which has already proven invaluable in streamlining real-time communication between FLY4’s Operations and Crew Control teams and SpiceJet. This function is helping both parties maintain responsiveness and operational efficiency during the critical start-up phase.

Jochen Schnadt, CEO and Accountable Manager of FLY4 Airlines, commented:

“Launching our first long-term ACMI programme outside Europe is a major achievement for FLY4, especially as we only began operations in March 2024. Smart partnerships like this enable us to scale quickly yet sustainably, reinforcing our strategy to build a globally balanced, counter-seasonal portfolio and positioning FLY4 as a trusted capacity solutions provider with international reach.”

The ACMI winter programme, which commenced on 31 October 2025, includes domestic routes from Delhi to Mumbai, Varanasi, and Ayodhya, as well as international services to Dubai and Bangkok. Running through early May 2026, the operation reinforces FLY4’s commitment to combining global capability with local expertise to optimise fleet utilisation and build sustainable partnerships in emerging markets.

By leveraging QuikJet’s local expertise and FLY4’s ACMI experience, the partnership beds a strong foundation for operational excellence and future growth in one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation markets.
